I left New Bridge (1340m) at 6:05 and hiked up and down the banks of the Modi Khola to Beehive at 7:00, thru terraced fields with excellent views of Machapuchare, to Syauli Bazaar (1140m) at 8:25, to Birethanti (1000m) at 9:50, to Naya Pul at 10:15, finishing with a steep climb up to the road.
